The Healing Barn Rescue and Rehabilitation

The Healing Barn’s Hilton Herbal, Shoo!tag and Electrobraid sales help to fund The Healing Barn Rescue and Rehabilitation Facility.  Without our customers’ support and purchases at www.thehealingbarn.com, individual donations and grants our efforts in rescuing needy equine animals and educating our youth on proper care of animals would not be possible.

We are very grateful to all our customers, supporters and friends!  In addition to receiving donations and public funding to support our rescuing facility, it is imperative we find good loving homes for our rescues once they are ready to be adopted.  If we cannot place our current horses, it inhibits us from continuing to help other equine friends in need!

Spunky and Spirited to Relaxed and Responsive

Yes that time of year where all of our horses seem to have cabin fever, and quite honestly I think I do as well!  We are all ready for the weather to break, days to get longer and the beautiful sun to start shining again!

Our horses tend to be more spunky and spirited this time of year and little less relaxed and responsive when riding or working.  I personally find the Hilton Herbs Confidence Plus or Hilton Herbs Confidence Plus Gold to do the trick.

The Healing Barn Rescue Website

TheHealingBarn.org was recently updated and has our most recent rescues and available horses listed.  Our website is dedicated to the work we do at The Healing Barn, our rescues, helpful resources and thank you recognition to our supporters!

Our newest area added to the website is the Thank You area!  We have dedicated this page to thanking the people who make what we do possible.  Grants and support from people in our community is what allows us to continue helping equine friends in need! 

At TheHealingBarn.org you will find helpful information about rescues as well as the horses available for adoption or sponsorship.  Horses available for sponsorship are special needs rescues that require additional treatments and attention, in most cases it is best they stay at The Healing Barn, but a couple of them could potentially be available for adoption to the right home!

Adopting the current horses in need of forever homes is a great option for those who have a limited budget and are looking for a wonderful companion and pleasure horse!  Rescuing and adopting an animal in need is a very rewarding experience!

Hilton Herbs Bye Bye Itch

Last night Nancy and Corri attended the Westview Animal Hospital Equine Appreciation Night, where the Westview Veterinarians as well as guest speakers attend to inform and bring equine owners in our area up to speed on the latest and greatest available.

The Healing Barn is a proud sponsor of this educational night as we are committed to educating equine and pet owners as well as it gives us an opportunity to introduce natural alternatives to equine owners.

Nancy and Corri received several inquiries about  Hilton Herb’s new product, Bye Bye Itch.  A hand full of the owners have horses with itchy, dry, dull and poor skin conditions and were interested in the Bye Bye Itch and how it works!

Hilton Herb’s Bye Bye Itch is a wonderful all natural supplement to help promote and support healthy skin year round.  While talking with most of the owners it was hardest to explain that this particular supplement produces best results if given year round.  Most people have the mindset that because the horse is only itchy during the spring, summer and fall that it is only necessary to feed the supplements during those months.

Our New Website!

The Healing Barn along with our IT girl have been working very hard over the past year to complete our new and improved website, and we are happy to say it is live and almost complete!  We still have some minor changes and additions that will be coming, but the site is nearly done and more importantly it is live for you to use!

With the new site we are hoping you as our customers can search and view our products more easily.  We will also have an area solely dedicated to our rescues for you to check in and see who you are helping because remember all proceeds from The Healing Barn sales are directly donated to The Healing Barn Rescue and Rehabilitation!  We thought you may want to stay up to date on who we are currently helping, so that area is soon to come!

Also you will notice our new Feline area, Hilton Herbs new Kitty products are all listed on the new site with descriptions for you just as our equine and canine areas. Our customers have been asking for a Kitty line, so here it is!
